FIIFF is not just a film festival; it is a global platform dedicated to celebrating the magic of cinema. It stands as a movement that honours creativity, innovation, and the art of storytelling. With a legacy rooted in excellence, the festival brings together visionary filmmakers, talented artists, and passionate cinema lovers from around the world. Its mission is to identify and promote outstanding films from independent projects to grand cinematic spectacles, connecting cultures and inspiring generations.
Alongside this prestigious festival, the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Puraskar of India 2025–26 was also organised. This distinguished platform honours exceptional talent and outstanding contributions to Indian cinema, celebrating creativity, storytelling, and cinematic excellence across the nation. Notably, this award was specially dedicated to women, recognising their significant achievements.
The event was a special women-centric celebration, attended by 𝐈𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐕â𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫,𝐉𝐨𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧,(𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫), 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢 ,𝐍𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 and dignitaries from Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) vice president 𝐀𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥. All the awards were presented by Atul Patel.
