Prolonged wet spell in Chandigarh has given birth to some most beautiful wild growths.
These ones are right there in my own backyard.
Their scientific name is Split-Gills mushrooms, and are certainly not edible.
But are a pure delight to watch.

River Kishanganga originates in the higher reaches of Kashmir. As it flows into Pakistan, it changes its name to Neelum and finally merges with Jhelum, also in Pakistan.
However, the significance of this river is deeply rooted in Kashmiri Shaivism… and it carries a huge cultural significance as well.
Here you may see it as a stream only…
but downstream it becomes a roaring beauty.
