*Social Service Program by KNSU*

*Kamhau Noknu, 4th August 2026*

The *Kamhau Noknu Students' Union [KNSU]* successfully organised a *Social Service Program*under the leadership of Langwang Losu President, Mantau Kokam AGS Protocol, Wangtah Losu AGS Admin. Wangcha Losu- IPs Secy. Golem Wangsuam, Geppho Losu, Wanglai Wangham and Youth Nokkhah Wangsa and Saigey Geyam today at the *Public Health Centre [PHC], Kamhau Noknu Village*, run by *Karuna Trust*.

The program was conducted with active participation from KNSU members, students and local youth. The entire PHC premises, surroundings, and approach road were cleaned, and waste materials were properly disposed of.

The main motive of the program was to *raise awareness about a clean, hygienic and safe environment*, especially in health institutions, and to encourage the community to maintain cleanliness for a healthy life.

KNSU expresses its sincere gratitude to the staff of PHC Kamhau Noknu and Karuna Trust for their cooperation, and to all volunteers who made the program successful.

KNSU will continue to organise such social welfare activities in the future for the betterment of society.

NOTES OF GRATITUDE

The *Felicitation-cum-Counselling Program 2026* was successfully organised by the *Kamhua Noknu Students’ Union [KNSU]* under the presidency of Sh. Langwang Losu on *12th August 2026* at the *Community Hall, Kamhua Noknu Village*.

The program was graced by:
*Chief Guest*: *Sh. Pankai Chingsa-am*, DMO, Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India
*Counsellors*: *Sh. Banwang Losu*, Executive Director, WLM & *Sh. Jatwang Wangsa*, SSA PRT Teacher

The program was also attended by the *Chief of Kamhua Noknu, GPC Members, Mandal President Pongchau-Wakka, Goan Bura, KNWWS, KYA, Teaching Staff, Parents, and well-wishers*.
We were also joined by the *Class V, VIII, X & XII qualified students of Kamhua Noknu*, along with the students of *GUPS & Residential School, Kamhua Noknu*.

*Objective of the Program:*
1. To felicitate the CBSE Class X & XII qualified students
2. To felicitate the Top-2 students from Class V & VIII of GUPS, Kamhua Noknu
3. To guide and motivate students for higher studies, career opportunities, and future goals

The Chief Guest and Counsellors shared valuable insights and motivated the students to work hard, stay disciplined, and aim for competitive exams and professional careers.

The *Kamhua Noknu Students’ Union (KNSU)* has successfully conducted its annual *Plantation Drive*, a core initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and highlighting the vital role trees play in our community’s ecosystem.

2. *Locations:* The drive focused on the *Hauchong Historical Ground* and the *Local School Campus*, ensuring a greener future for these significant community spaces.
