In the state of Uttrakhand Tunganath is the highest Shiva Temple in the world at an altitude of 3600 mts, one of the panch kedar.
People often say that if you visit Tunganath then it is equivalent to travelling all the panch Kedar.
Tunganath was built by Lord Arjun who was one of the pandavas.
Tunganath leads to Chandrashila, through a well lead trail about 1.5 kms away.
Chandrashila is the place where Lord Rama meditated.
The two places are well connected to nearby places like Auli and Deoria taal
