406,778 KM: A New Human Frontier. 🚀🌑

At precisely 4:37 AM, while the world was sleeping, I captured this. This isn’t just a video of the Moon—it’s the exact moment the Artemis II crew broke the 56-year-old record set by Apollo 13.

For the first time since 1970, humanity has reached further into the void than ever before. To see that familiar glow and know there are four people on the other side of it, making history in real-time... it’s a perspective shift I’ll never forget.

Breaking all human limits. The Artemis Generation has arrived.

Breaking all human limits

🌕 Witness to History. This is the moment I captured the moon at precisely 4:37am IST last night, exactly when the Artemis-II mission reached its furthest point from Earth. At approximately 406,778 km away, this brave crew has officially broken the 56-year-old spaceflight record set by Apollo 13.

It is humbling to look at this familiar view and know that four people are deeper in the void than any human has ever been, paving the way for our return to the lunar surface. We are living in a new era of exploration.

Morning rituals before the world wakes up.
A Great Cormorant drying its wings after the night—spotted during an Asian Waterbird Census (AWC-2026) survey in Khardaha, West Bengal.

Captured between 7:30–8:00 AM, 15 January.
This is what showing up for nature looks like.

Part-2 : "Decoding Durga Puja"

Durga Puja — to some, it’s just a festival.
But to us Bengalis, it’s far more than that.
It’s a heartbeat that echoes through the streets,
a canvas where faith meets imagination,
and an emotion that paints the city in gold.

This Durga Puja 2025, I wanted to look beyond the glittering lights and the festive chaos —
to pause, to listen, and to understand.
To see the sleepless nights of artists who breathe life into clay,
the quiet dreams of craftsmen who build pandals from nothing but hope,
and the silent conversations between tradition and change.

Through this series, I tried to decode that emotion —
to trace the stories hidden behind each brushstroke and bamboo frame,
to feel the devotion that turns art into worship,
and to witness how, once a year,
an entire city becomes a living, breathing masterpiece.

Because Durga Puja isn’t just celebrated in Kolkata —
it’s felt, built, and lived in every corner of it.
