তখন সারে চারটে কি পাঁচটা হবে, দিনের শেষ সাফারি শেষ করছি, হঠাৎ ঝাকুনি দিয়ে জিপসি দাঁড়িয়ে পড়লো, অনুমান ঠিক, ঠান্ডা জলাশয় ঝ...

তখন সারে চারটে কি পাঁচটা হবে, দিনের শেষ সাফারি শেষ করছি, হঠাৎ ঝাকুনি দিয়ে জিপসি দাঁড়িয়ে পড়লো, অনুমান ঠিক, ঠান্ডা জলাশয় ঝোপের মধ্যে দেখা যাচ্ছে দুটো অপলক দৃষ্টি, চোখ ছোট করতে দেখতে পেলাম হলুদ এর ওপর কালো স্ট্রাইপ। তুলে নিলাম ক্যামেরা, ভিউফাইন্ডার এ চোখ পড়তে হারহিম করা নজর অবশ করছিলো হাত, কিন্তু চোখ সরানো যাবে না। ততক্ষন এ গাইড পরিচয় দিয়ে দিয়েছে এটি pilibhit টাইগার রিসার্ভ এর সবথেক রাগী বাঘ, ভীমতাল মেল।

পেছনে ন্যাচারালিস্ট কাসিম বলে উঠলো এবার ও তেরে আসবে কিন্তু ভয় নেই অ্যাটাক করবে না, শুধু শাটার বাটন এ আঙ্গুল রাখুন, বিরাট হুঙ্কার দিয়ে এগিয়ে এলো ভীমতাল মেল, হাত শরীর,জিপসি বেসামাল,তবু চোখ ক্যামেরায়, একটার পর একটা ক্লিক হতে থাকলো। আশেপাশে কোনো জিপসি নেই আমরা একা। সে অদৃশ্য হলো গভীর জঙ্গলে, আবার শুরু হলো চেজ করা, আবার সে সামনে এবার আরো রেগে, হুঙ্কার ছেড়ে, আদিম এক রূপ দেখিয়ে সে আবার অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেলো।

চোখ দিয়ে তখন ক্রমাগত জল পড়ছে,আনন্দে। মুখে লাগছে জঙ্গলের ঠান্ডা হাওয়া, জিপসি দৌরচ্ছে গেট এ পৌঁছতে হবে,চোখ ব্ন্ধ করলাম আনন্দে অনুভূতি টা সবটুকু ধরে রাখতে মনের ক্যামেরায়, এই এক্সপেডিশন সার্থক। Pilibhit টাইগার রিসার্ভ ও ভীমতাল মেল মনে থেকে যাবে আজীবন
