From a sleepy yawn to a piercing stare.
There is nothing quite like the silence of the Pench forest being broken by the presence of a ghost. We watched this beautiful leopard transition from a deep afternoon yawn to locking eyes with my lens at the Sillari gate.
Happy International Leopard Day! May we continue to protect the corridors these elusive cats call home.

🐯🐯🐯 Magge’s cubs are growing up fast and learning the ways of the wild.A frame like this is what inspires us to wake up at 4am on the tiring safari days.

The elusive N4, one of those moments where I was the first one to spot the tiger and the sight was mesmerising to say the least. Two footprints. One story.
In the heart of Tadoba, a tiger’s pugmark and a human step share the same trail in the buffer area of Belara, living proof that coexistence isn’t a dream, it’s a daily rhythm of respect and balance.

Yet in the same state, harmony faces disruption due to the greed of a few with Maharashtra’s latest leopard relocation plans to Vantara shaking the very bond that has worked over the years. Man animal conflict is real, but it was always resolved even before the birth of Vantara. The way forward is not relocation but cohabitation as had been the heritage of our country always. Conserve and Protect, not conflict and destroy.
