The Bengal Photo Video Expo 2024 proudly presents the Durga Puja Photo Contest! It’s time to unleash your creativity and capture the vibrant spirit of Durga Puja for a chance to win exciting prizes and have your photos exhibited.
Themes:
1. Durga Idol: Capture the beauty, artistry, and spiritual aura of Durga idols during the festival.
2. Pandal Decoration: Highlight the intricate and imaginative designs of the stunning pandals that bring Durga Puja celebrations to life.
Submission Guidelines:
Upload Your Photos: Share your best shots that represent Durga Puja from your perspective.
Use Facebook: Post your photos on Facebook to connect with a larger audience.
Use Hashtags: Include the hashtags

when sharing your photos online to ensure they are part of the larger photography community and competition.
- Email: Submit your entries to [email protected].
- Photo Categories: You can participate in both themes.
- Submission Limit: Maximum of 4 photos per category per participant.
- Format: JPG only.
- Dimensions: The longest side of the photo should be 2000 px.
- Editing:
- No mobile photography or mobile edits allowed.
- EXIF data is mandatory.
- Only minor corrections (such as cropping and basic color adjustments) are permitted.
- AI Use: Strictly prohibited.
- Originality:
- All participants must submit original work that they have personally created.
- Photos must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Submission Process:
- All entries must be submitted digitally via email or the competition portal by the deadline.
- No watermarked images will be accepted.
- In the email, participants must include the following information:
1. Name
2. District
3. Phone Number
Prizes and Recognition:
- Exhibition: The top 200 photos will be displayed at the Expo gallery.
- Category Winners: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each theme.
- Special Mentions: Five special mention awards in each category for notable entries.
- Viewer’s Choice Award: Exhibition visitors will vote for one lucky photographer to receive the Viewer’s Choice Award.
Results and Felicitation:
- Result Announcement: Winners will be declared on October 25, 2024, at the Expo.
- Felicitation Ceremony: Winners will be honored during a special event at the Expo.
Important Terms and Conditions:
- Open to all photography enthusiasts.
- Copyrights and Ownership: All submitted photos must be original works by the participants. You retain full copyright; however, Bengal Photo Video Expo reserves the right to use the images for promotional purposes related to the contest.
- Permissions: Participants must ensure they have obtained any necessary permissions for subjects or locations depicted in their photos. Bengal Photo Video Expo will not be held liable for disputes regarding this.
- Judge's Decision: All decisions by the judges are final and cannot be challenged.
