GOTHIC HAAT premiers as the most dynamic visual art destination of Kolkata. Ranging from stalwarts like Ganesh Haloi, Suhash Roy, Lalu Prasad Shaw and Jogen Choudhury to renowned artists like Jaysree Chakraborty, Aditya Basak, Samir Aich and Subrata Ganguly, Gothic Haat will showcase creative endeavors from across the spectrum, with special emphasis on and privilege to the young Turks of the art

world. Thought provoking and vibrant curated exhibitions of paintings and sculptures, hand-made and digitized prints, photography and collage, video, sound and installation works will be clubbed with discussions and seminars on traditional as well as contemporary cultural issues. Interdisciplinary workshops and exchange programmes will bring the creative intelligentsia of many fields together at Gothic Haat.
