The love for one's city is quite relatable to a man's love for his favourite cologne. It may dry itself with time, but it never gets old. One might argue by insisting it is like the fondness we used to have even before cupid moved it's strings for us. But maybe both of us would find our exegesis void if someone told us that it is more like unfinished story of our life. It looks bright in the back but one would find it incomplete in it's soothe.

Kolkata is one of those stories. The most beautiful places in the city wasn't made by us but admired and cared by us.
There is a common belief of the bengali culture. We believe most of the successful relationships have crossed paths in the front of the River Ganga (Hoogly). If you ask me to describe their love stories, I'd probably say,

আজও বসে আছি গঙ্গার পাশে,
যেখানে বয়েছে তোমার শ্বাসের ঝর।
যেন অসংখ্য বেলি ফুলের মাঝে,
সব স্বপ্ন রয়ে গেছে।
কিছু মুহূর্তের স্তব্ধ খুশি,
কিছু না বলা গল্প,
এখনো যে রয়ে গেছে আমার অন্তরে,
নীরবে শোনার অপেক্ষায়।
আমি যে আজও বসে আছি,
তোমার ছায়ায় নিজেকে খোজার অপেক্ষায়।.........

Even in a world that's currently buzzing with the hype of Euro-Copa, nothing beats the essence of football in rain, with your childhood friends.
It's these small moments that magically take us back to the golden days of our lives, the vivid memories of which still remain etched in our heart and will always be cherished.

No matter how much time passes.
No matter how many friends drift apart.
Football has the power reunite, rekindle and re-establish all the lost bonds, both old and new.
Because football is more than just a game,
it's an emotion,
a religion that we live by,
and love for this beautiful game transcends all boundaries, and unites us into one.

KATHGOLA BAGAN BARI✨

The beautiful four-storeyed Kathgola Palace was built by Lakshmipat Duggar, a wealthy Jain merchant. The palace is located in the midst of a huge 30 acre garden where once, it is believed, black rose was cultivated. Now, the garden is filled with mango orchards. It is also generally believed that the post-Plassey financial transaction between Mir Jafar and the British was conducted in this palace. At present, this palace has been converted into a museum and is used for film shoots. There are a statue of Michaelangelo and a tunnel at the entrance of the palace which is now closed. Recently, a zoo has been built in the garden. A must see in Murshidabad.

In a city that is always in motion, the Princep Ghat provides the much needed break for everyone, especially people who are in love. Sitting by the 'Ganga ghat' as cool breezes softly brush on your skin is a feeling that, once experienced, can't be shaken of easily!.......
