1997 Pajero Exceed ( Intercooler Turbo 2.8L )

Debuted in 1982, the Mitsubishi Pajero ( aka, Montero, Sh**un and so on in different regions ), is one of the most iconic SUVs to set foot in the automotive world. The car gained popularity especially after it competed in its first ever Dakar rally in 1985, where it won first place during its maiden attempt. This victory was one of its kind in the Dakar world.

The second generation came with intercooler technology and super-select 4X4 system. Pajero came in 3 door as well as 5 door variant.

Personally I felt that this car makes you feel like the king of the road considering it’s stance and road presence. My favourite will always be the 2nd generation as I’m a sucker for rugged looking SUVs. As kid, I always had a fascination for the cool tech such as the compass and inclinometer in the Pajero.

Thanks and for being absolute madlads for owning some cool cars. Got to really experience some interesting automotive history because of them.
