The mystical eye…
Deer are equipped with large, expressive eyes that possess unique horizontal slit-shaped pupils, allowing for a 310-degree panoramic field of vision, thereby enhancing their safety. These eyes feature human-like colored irises and a reflective layer known as the tapetum lucidum, which produces a vibrant glow in low light conditions, improving their nocturnal vision and contributing to their striking appearance.
