സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി നാട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഗൾഫിലേക്ക്... പല വീഴ്ചകളും തെറ്റിദ്ധാരണകളും ഉണ്ടായെങ്കിലും, എന്റെ സ്വപ്നം ഞാൻ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചില്ല. ഒരുനാൾ അത് എന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്തിക്കും. InshaAllah." ✨🤍

എന്നാൽ എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടവും സ്വപ്നവും ഞാൻ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചില്ല. ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫിയോടും മീഡിയയോടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഇഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഒരു ബ്ലോഗ് തുടങ്ങി. ആ യാത്രയിൽ പല നല്ല കാര്യങ്ങളും സംഭവിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ ദൗർഭാഗ്യവശാൽ, എന്റെ ഭാര്യ അതിനെ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിച്ചു.

ഒരുപാട് ഓടിനടക്കുന്നതിനിടയിൽ ഒരുദിവസം എന്റെ പേഴ്സ് റൂമിൽ മറന്നുവെച്ചു. കയ്യിൽ പണമൊന്നുമില്ല. മെട്രോ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ കാർഡിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് 5 ദിർഹം മാത്രം. യാത്ര ചെയ്യാൻ കുറഞ്ഞത് 7.5 ദിർഹമെങ്കിലും വേണം.

സഹായം തേടി ചിലരോട് ചോദിച്ചു. മലയാളിയാണെന്ന് കരുതി ഒരാളോട് കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, "പറ്റിക്കാൻ ഇറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയാണ് നിങ്ങളെ പോലുള്ള മലയാളികൾ..." എന്നായിരുന്നു മറുപടി.

ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ആകെ വിഷമത്തിലായി. പിന്നീട് ഒരു അറബിയോട് എന്റെ അവസ്ഥ പറഞ്ഞു. അദ്ദേഹം ഒന്നും ചോദിക്കാതെ എന്റെ മെട്രോ കാർഡിലേക്ക് 20 ദിർഹം റീചാർജ് ചെയ്തു തന്നു. ഒരു പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ സലാം പറഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹം നടന്നു പോയി.

അതിന് ശേഷം ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വീണ്ടും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷേ ആ സഹായം ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കില്ല.

ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരു ഘട്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു... 30 ദിവസം ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാതെ വെറും വെള്ളം കുടിച്ച് നിൽക്കാൻ പറ്റുമോ എന്ന് പോലും ഞാൻ ചിന്തിച്ച സമയം. താഴെ ഇറങ്ങി ആരോടെങ്കിലും "ഒരു ചായ വാങ്ങിത്തരാമോ?" എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചാൽ കിട്ടാറില്ല. പക്ഷേ ഒരു സിഗരറ്റ് ചോദിച്ചാൽ കിട്ടും. അങ്ങനെ പല ദിവസങ്ങളിലും വിശപ്പിനെ മറക്കാൻ സിഗരറ്റിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ച നിമിഷങ്ങളുണ്ട്.

ഞാൻ സാധാരണ വ്ലോഗിംഗ് ചെയ്യാറില്ല. പക്ഷേ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് പോലും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായപ്പോൾ ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിനൊപ്പം കുറച്ച് വ്ലോഗുകൾ ചെയ്തു. അതിൽ നിന്ന് പണം ഒന്നും കിട്ടിയില്ല, പക്ഷേ ഭക്ഷണം കിട്ടി.

അപ്പോഴാണ് ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത് — നമ്മൾ എത്ര ഭക്ഷണം പാഴാക്കുന്നു എന്നതും, ഒരാളുടെ വിശപ്പിന്റെ വില എന്താണെന്നും.

ആ സമയത്ത് വീട്ടിലും ചില തെറ്റിദ്ധാരണകൾ ഉണ്ടായി. ഭാര്യയ്ക്കും പല സംശയങ്ങളും വന്നു. പക്ഷേ ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും തെറ്റായ വഴിയിലേക്ക് പോയിട്ടില്ല. പിന്നീട് ഒരു അറബി വീട്ടിൽ ജോലി കിട്ടി. അവിടെയും കാര്യങ്ങൾ ശരിയായില്ല.

അവസാനം ആരോടും പറയാതെ ഒരു പുതിയ ജോലിയിൽ ചേർന്നു. വിസ പ്രോസസിനായി നൽകി.

അൽഹംദുലില്ലാഹ്... ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിൽക്കുന്ന ഓരോ ചുവടിനും പിന്നിൽ വിശപ്പും കണ്ണീരും കഷ്ടപ്പാടും ഉണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇന്നും ഒരു ഭക്ഷണവും പാഴാക്കാൻ മനസ്സ് സമ്മതിക്കാത്തത്. ❤️🤲🏻
