We came to Triyuginarayan to shoot a wedding.

But somewhere between the mountains, the sacred fire, and two people promising forever…
we realised we were witnessing something much bigger than a wedding.

They say this is where Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati were married, and the Akhand Dhuni has continued to burn since that divine union.

And today, centuries later, we stood beside that same eternal fire, watching another couple begin their forever.

The vows.
The glances.
The laughter.
The tears.
The promises.

Everything felt different here.

Because when you say “forever” beside a fire that has witnessed love across three Yugas…
forever suddenly feels a little more real.

We didn’t just capture their wedding.

We witnessed love, against the Himalayas, in a place where eternity has a flame of its own.

This wedding stayed with us for a simple reason.
It was calm, intentional, and shared with the people who mattered most.

Every couple has their own vision of what a wedding should feel like, and this day was a beautiful reflection of theirs.

Three days in the mountains.
What began as an assignment slowly turned into an experience we will carry with us for a long time.
In the quiet village of Triyuginarayan, surrounded by cold winds, ancient traditions, and people who had traveled far to celebrate love, we witnessed something truly special
This wasn’t just a destination wedding. It was the fulfillment of a childhood dream. A dream she had carried for years-to be married in the very place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are believed to have been united
As filmmakers, we arrived to document a wedding
We left with a story about faith, devotion, family, and dreams finding their way home.

Some places are beautiful.
Some places make you feel something
