The victory lap of the _Heliah_(a little bigger than the hornbills) above Benreu village. Legend has it that these Birds goes into war with the Pythons, somewhere beyond the Pauna mountains. They perform this lap if they are victorious in this very spot, before flying towards _Hekaakigung_ a big forest near Chakha; then return in the evening. However, if they face defeat, they fly out quietly only at night in order to cover their shame.

The NCCAF alongwith the Mount Pauna Range Biodiversity Conservation Forum, celebrated the World Environment Day at Benreu Village, where representatives from 12 CCAs and all the Office Bearers of the NCCAF participated. Besides the formal programme, the participants took out a plantation drive of Rhododendron sapplings.
