This may not fall on your usual road trip route, but if you are anywhere close to Toonga or Bassi, kachori and kadhi at Bhaya Ji's shop at Teen Dukaan in Toonga cannot be missed.

It's about 11 km from our farm, but always a must stop when we go in that direction. The shop has no name, and his kachori and kadhi are the best you're likely to ever have.

A big bowl of crushed kachori, with some hot kadhi and chopped onions on it. Even in this sweltering heat, it is refreshing in its own way. For Rs 12/- per plate, there's not much else that's as delicious.
