Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh is one of the city’s major attractions. Actually, it is not a lake but a reservoir at the foothills of the Shivalik Range of the great Himalayas. It is around 3 km² in size and usually filled by the rainwater. The lake is well-maintained and the level of hygiene here is usually pretty high.
