I have done course in Basic Photography under the great Mr T Kasinath in Delhi in 1982. Photography which began as a hobby with Yashica Electro35 turned into passion as awards started coming in. Soon I switched over to Nikon Cameras and lenses. Did own B&W developing and printing. Collection includes transparencies, negatives both color and B&W. The range varies from people places and events. Coll
ection has been described above. Was FIP photographer of the year in 1986. Won award at the National Photo contest in 1988. Was satiated with awards and certificate stopped (virtually) participating in photo contests in 1992. My pics found place in one of the art galleries and also in a museum. In my opinion simple pix speak a lot more than the concocted ones. I also have quite a few of them in my collection. Have done lots of photo-features and photo-essays for publishing in India and for the reader world wide. I have traveled virtually across the country and miss the states I haven't been to. May be some day I will visit them and come back with a memorable collection for my pleasure and for the viewers. It has been a very long and fulfilling journey of 32 years(2015). Awards, recognition and money has been coming regularly. I now find greatest satisfaction in sharing my knowledge and experience with students, photographers and others who seek my views. Advice may not be the right word as in my opinion a person is always a student and a learner. What I have shown here is a drop from my collection. I have enjoyed photography-mine and others-and will continue to do so till I get a call from above.
