Hey guys! Usually, we stick to shooting small kids below the age of 4 and maternity shoots, BUT for our latest shoot, we dived into something we had never done before. We took on a photo-shoot of an eight-year-old boy!! It was tremendous fun! There were a lot of firsts in this shoot. To start off, this is the first shoot in which I got to use my new Sony A7Rii with my 24-70 GM lens! Absolutely in love with it. AND, we got to capture this little boys first ice-cream and his first sliding experience!! Definitely one of the most extensive photoshoots we've done. [ 29 more words ]

In the moment.
Most of the photographs that we take are "unscripted". Moments that just happen to happen and we just happen to capture them.
And that's why it's such a joy to work as a Child Photographer.
You never know what's coming.
Take for example this photo.
This little girl was just looking around, wasn't really in the mood to get her picture taken.
So I suggested the parents to tickle her a little.
And she giggled and giggled and suddenly looked straight at me with that look and I clicked.
It was so, so worth it.

Sometimes, we have clients who book us and say that they want a shoot like the previous one we had done, but in all honesty, every shoot is different. And that's what makes my work so interesting! We love seeing the bond between the parents and their child and love even more that they have come to us to capture their moments. We are so excited to finally be able to share this beautiful maternity shoot with you all! They already has two beautiful, adorable girls and now is adding a third member. And we just got the news that it's a baby boy! Such a heart-warming shoot. We absolutely loved every moment of it and we hope, that when you go through the photographs, you will love it too!

Look at these 2 cuties! This was such a fun shoot! I just absolutely love it when parents come with their own ideas. This family came with a small plastic basket and a woollen blanket and a white dress for their little girl and just look at how it turned out to be! Did my first ever maternity shoot yesterday, and it was the most surprising experience. The couple was ready to do anything. The mother looked beautiful and she just radiated this calm around her. Can't wait to take some photos of the family once the baby arrives!
