Music as heavy and hard-hitting as metal should be, vocals as beautiful as it's humanly possible to be... Skyharbor and Eric blew my mind.
It was a previlage to host them in my country and my city and I hope they come back soon 😍

Drive away your darkness, come toward the light!

Aarti is derived from the Sanskrit word ārātrika, which means something that removes darkness.

Aarti is a Hindu religious ritual of worship, a part of puja (prayer), in which light from wicks soaked in ghee (purified butter) or camphor is offered to one or more deities.

Where It All Began:

4 years ago, in my Engineering second year, I was gifted my first DSLR on my birthday. It was a Canon 1100D with a 18-55mm lens. At this point, I had only ever held a DSLR 5-6 times before which belonged to my cousin and he was kind enough to let me use it even though I wasn't versed with how to. 🐾

⏳ July- September, which the time this picture was taken, I had clicked around 2000 pictures of everything and anything that I could click.
All I knew was that I wanted to learn to click properly and click pictures of what I was interested in and store those memories forever. ✨

This gig was at a school and it was a plantation drive to teach kids the importance of our nature around us. It was my first ever gig as a "photograper" and it was the first time I felt the emotion, stress, patience, impatience and frustration that I would face my coming years as well, as a full-grown photograper.
But those initial days, those intimate
memories of forming a connection with my camera, forming an understanding of people, emotions, capturing moments, feeling the pang of dread when you lose a second and miss an event to capture, the joy of seeing people love your pictures and compliment you for your hardwork. 💯
Those memories are priceless, that struggle is irreplaceable and the pictures even though taken a long time ago, are immortalised in my mind and heart ❤
