| Eco Shells | Al Wathba wetland reserve visitor center competition |

The visitor center is organised around 3 terrarium like courtyards showcasing the predominant natural landscapes in and around Abu Dhabi (Desert, mangroves, wetlands). The funicular structure, made of bent palm leaf bundles, is rooted in context. The outer skin is concrete sprayed on fabric formwork and finished with mud plaster.

| Sabeel 2020 - Succor |

Shortlisted entry - design of drinking water for . 'Succor' is about respectfully providing service to the guests of the expo. The traditional way of serving beverages from the exquisite 'Dallah', is a gesture of hospitality extended by the host. It still maintains its place today at the centre of social gatherings. This symbolic significance of this object inspired the form and spirit of our proposal.

In this strange period of 'social-distancing' ; the very idea of a World expo and drinking water fountains sounds ludicrous. Anyway- let's drink To simpler times..
