In the heart of Mayurbhanj, the scenery is breathtaking, but the reality is heartbreaking. For many villages here, the very water that sustains them is also making them sick. Contaminated canals and rivers are the only choice, leading to a cycle of waterborne diseases that hit the youngest the hardest.
But the crisis doesn’t stop at the riverbank. When the monsoon hits, the “roads” vanish into red mud.
• Education Paused: Children are cut off from schools with no safe way to cross.
• Medical Silence: Sirens fade away because ambulances simply cannot reach the doorsteps.
We aren’t just filming a landscape; we are filming a struggle for basic survival. It’s time to look beyond the beauty and see the need for change.

Imagine drinking water you know will make you sick because there is no other choice. Imagine watching the school bus—and the ambulance—stop miles away because the roads are impassable.
This is the daily reality for families trapped by poor infrastructure and a lack of clean water. The monsoon shouldn’t be a prison sentence for a child’s education.
