You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
― Ansel Adams
Everything that flickered could be made permanent. People look at ordinary stuff all day long, so why not make a picture look extraordinary, and give them something new to look at. The camera has always been a guide, and it's allowed me
to see things and focus on things that maybe an average person wouldn't even notice. What can be proved by a photograph, can never be by a word. The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words. There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs. If you strive for simplicity, you are more likely to reach the viewer. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life…….
