*SBSP Holds Grand Workers’ Convention in Handwara, Announces Key Organizational Appointments*
Handwara, 17 May :- The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) on Sunday organized a grand workers’ convention at Khanpora Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, which witnessed massive participation from party workers, senior leaders, and local residents from different areas of the region.
Addressing the gathering, SBSP Jammu and Kashmir State President Vivek Bali criticized the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference-led government, alleging that it has failed to fulfill the promises made to the people during the election campaign.
He said that despite tall claims and assurances given before the elections, the ground reality in many areas remains unchanged and people continue to suffer due to the lack of basic amenities and developmental activities. He further alleged that the promises made by the government have not been translated into practical action at the grassroots level.
During the convention, people from different areas raised several public grievances and highlighted issues being faced by the common masses, including lack of basic facilities, unemployment, poor road connectivity, and other developmental concerns. The participants expressed hope that the party leadership would strongly take up these issues at appropriate forums and work towards their early resolution.
On the occasion, Vivek Bali also announced several important organizational appointments aimed at strengthening the party structure in North Kashmir and District Kupwara.
Dr. Firdous Ahmad Wani was nominated as District President Kupwara, Mohd. Younis Dar as District Secretary Kupwara, Imtiyaz Ahmad Sheikh as Chief Media Incharge Kupwara, and Bashir Ahmad Najar as Co-Incharge North Kashmir.
The newly nominated office bearers thanked the party leadership for reposing trust in them and assured that they would work tirelessly to strengthen the party and raise public issues at every platform.
