Life is a lot hectic for us fishermen. Their worn hands weave nets, as the salty air fills their lungs. Each catch is a testament to their toil, a dance with the ocean's fury. Their stories, etched on weathered faces, speak of a life both rugged and beautiful.

In the twilight of their life, the mother and son find their way back to the simplicity of life. How pure and magical the bond is! It finds its way back to innocence in the gentle touch of wrinkled hands and with immense care and regards. Every gentle glance tells a story of shared joys and sorrows, and of a love that only a mother can provide to her ward!

In the quiet of dusk, his weathered hands clutch prayer beads, tracing the journey of his life. Amidst poverty’s shadow, he bows to holy spirits, grateful for a long and peaceful life illuminated by the sacred knowledge of faith. Wrinkled brow furrowed in pure devotion contemplating that his life was full of wisdom and divine teachings.

The evergreen weather of monsoon,
Faded to take a new form as the winter approached,
The dusky night featured its boon,
Until the daylight erased the light of moon.
But, the person behind the lens,
Captured the beauty till immortal fence.

On 19th August every year photography day is celebrated around the world. It is a little tribute and honour for the one who always stayed behind the lenses to give the world best memories to keep forever.
The first World Photography Day was held on 19th August, 2010. On that day almost around 270 photographers shared their pictures in a global online gallery. A lot of people from different corners of over 120 countries visited the online gallery. This event became the landmark for the first official World Photography Day. Gradually with passing years photography day is gaining a lot of recognition and popularity that in 2022, World Photography Week was introduced and observed.
The theme of Photography Day in 2023 is "Understanding Clouds".
