I have always believed that growth never takes place when you get too comfortable with your own self. My idea of growth is not just about being an amazing artist but pushing my limits to become an incredible human being. Since the pandemic hit, I have pushed myself, even more, to become better. Thrown myself into different places all the time and you know what? I might have just found a home. But even if it’s not the right one, it doesn’t matter. You ask why? Because it’s the process of grinding that I crave for & the urge to thrive in it.
I have moved to Dublin, Ireland to pursue my master’s. For people who want to get into the specifics, I will be studying MSc in Marketing from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School & yes not photography or visual arts. I know it’s a big step with a lot of uncertainties but it’s the one that was needed. But what will happen to photography? The artist in me will never stop creating. This creative thirst to become better will always push me to reach greater heights. I can’t wait to shoot people here & tell stories through my craft.
Thank you so much to all people who have supported me in my decision & helped me to pave my own path.
As I end this note, there is something Hugh Macleod wrote which stuck with me, “Don’t try to standout in the crowd; avoid crowds altogether.”
Cheers to creating new pathways! Until then, keep creating! ✨
