AKRSS West Sikkim

Today, on June 3, 2026, an on-site inspection and consultation-suggestion program for the under-construction Rodungkhim at the Baiguney premises under AKRSS West District.

Officials from the concerned departments were present at the program and held detailed discussions on what the construction structure of Rodungkhim should be like in the coming days, and how its aesthetics, safety and management can be made more effective. Additionally, necessary consultations and suggestions were provided regarding suitable locations for installing CCTV cameras.

The consultation program was attended by Chairman Shri R. K. Waling Rai, Principal Chief Engineer Shri Sandeep Rai , Shri Mohan Dungmali Rai, Shri Ram Chandra Rai (West District President), Shri C. K. Rai (Geyzing Block President), along with other members. There was also active participation from the Culture Department, Electricity Department, the CCTV-related technical team and the contractors involved in the construction work.

The dignitaries present provided necessary advice, suggestions, and instructions to the contractor to ensure that the construction work is high-quality, safe, and long-lasting.

A meeting of the West District Committee of the Akhil Kirat Rai Sangh Sikkim was held at Sisne Hotel Doklam on March 23, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Ram Chandra Rai, President of AKRSS West District. The General Secretary Khagendra Rai, OSD SNT Transport Dept GoS, welcomed the gathering and briefed about the main agenda of the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Biren Chandra Rai, Advisor, SBS GoS, Publicity Secretary of the Central Executive Committee Bishnu Chamling Rai, and District Executive Committee members RB Rai and Dhiraj Rai.

The meeting discussed diffrent agenda as well as upcoming activities of AKRSS West District. Members shared their thoughts, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dhiraj Rai.

डॉ. डी.पी. राई, सिक्किमका एक प्रसिद्ध हृदय रोग विशेषज्ञ, लन्डनमा सीनियर इन्टरनेशनल फेलो अवार्डबाट सम्मानित भएका छन्। यो सम्मान प्राप्त गर्ने उनी पहिलो सिक्किमे डाक्टर हुन्।

डॉ. राईले सिक्किममा हृदय रोग उपचारको क्षेत्रमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुराइ रहेको छन्। उनले एस टी एन एम अस्पतालमा हृदय रोग विभागको नेतृत्व गरिरहेका छन् र उपचारको क्षेत्रमा गरेको कामले राज्यलाई हृदय रोग उपचारको केन्द्र बनाउन मद्दत गरेको छ। हामी सिक्किमका सम्पुर्ण किरवा परिवार या अखिल किरात राई संघ सिक्किमको तर्फबाट वहाँलाई हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामना साथै उज्ज्वल भविस्यको कामना गर्दैछौं।

Our Sikkimese daughter Ms Susmita Rai from Namchi, Sikkim, has achieved a significant milestone in Sikkim sports by serving as an assistant referee at the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship held in Pokhara, Nepal from January 31 to February 7, 2026.
We, the entire Kirati community of Sikkim or Akhil Kirat Rai Sangh Sikkim, express our heartfelt gratitude and congratulate Susmita Rai for bringing pride to Sikkim. We wish her a bright future & continued success in her endeavors.

Geyzing; January 10, 2026

Akhil Kirat Rai Sangh Sikkim, West District Exucative committee meeting was held today at Geyzing. The meeting was chaired by Mr Ram Chandra Rai, President of AKRSS Sikkim West district. Mr Khagendra Rai, General Secretary; Ms Savitri Rai, Joint Secretary; Mr Dheeraj Rai, Mr Meshak Rai, Mr RB Rai (Retd RO) and Ms Pratima Rai and other Kirawas are also present. The meeting discussed the upcoming tasks for AKRSS West district. Members shared their views, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Meshak Walling.
