I do not crave a life confined within walls or defined by expectations. What I seek is the open sky, the untamed trail, the whisper of forests, and the silence of mountains that speak louder than any crowd ever could.

They ask me about marriage, about children, about settling down as if life is a checklist waiting to be completed.
But I have already compromised enough, bent enough, lived enough for others’ definitions of “right.”
Now, I choose myself.

Today, I earn. Today, I live. And more importantly today, I feel alive. For me, happiness is not a destination built with bricks, it is a path carved through mud, stone, and pine needles. It is in the rhythm of my footsteps on a lonely trail, in the breath I lose and find again on a steep climb, in the fire I light under a sky full of stars.

Nature is not an escape it is my home. The mountains hold me like family, the rivers speak to me like old friends, and the forests listen without judgment.

Perhaps those who once walked beside me have found their own versions of happiness. I wish them well. Truly. But I no longer measure my life against theirs.

Because I am here, riding through winding roads,
camping under infinite skies, building strength in body and stillness in mind.

And in this life of mine wild, free, and unbound
I have found something rare:

I am happy, I am healthy. And for the first time… I am truly living.

Bikram Sambat is a luni-solar calendar, meaning it is based on both the movement of the Sun and the phases of the Moon. It is believed to have been started by Vikramaditya after his victory, and it has been used for centuries in Nepal and parts of South Asia.

The calendar holds great cultural and historical significance, as it determines festivals, rituals, and the Nepali New Year (Baisakh 1). In astrology, Bikram Sambat is highly important because it follows tithi (lunar days), paksha (fortnight phases), and planetary positions, which are used to select auspicious dates (muhurat) for events like marriage, पूजा, and other life ceremonies, making it not just a way to measure time but to understand the quality and influence of time.

मेरो जीवनमा तिमी झरी जस्तै आउँनु शान्त, मधुर, र जीवन्तता बोकेर।

In Lepcha, “Yang” means wide or open, and “Tam” means field or place. Together, Yangtam means “a wide open field” or “a broad flat land.”

If I am wrong you can correct me in the comments about the Meaning and the word it belongs to.

A quiet road winds through the trees, inviting a journey without a destination.
A lone bike pauses on the edge of the hills, as if waiting for courage to move forward.
Bright flowers bloom gently, reminding that beauty exists even in silence.
Life continues on the slopes, where people work in harmony with nature.
And in the end, a soul sits still, embracing the peace found along the way.

Sometimes you need to slow down your life
not because you’re lost, but because you’ve been moving too fast to notice where you are.

Pause for a while. Let the noise settle.
Not every moment needs to be productive; some moments just need to be lived.

it reminds you that you don’t have to figure everything out right now. it tells you it’s okay if your path looks different from others. it helps you breathe between responsibilities. it asks you to reconnect with the parts of you you left behind. it teaches you that peace is more valuable than pace.

Because sometimes, slowing down isn’t falling behind…
it’s finally walking at the pace your soul understands.
