We have a soft spot for jasmine.
Maybe because it feels like home.
Probably that is why we end up photographing it almost as much as we photograph people.
Sometimes, a kasavu saree, fresh jasmine, and the people you love are all a wedding really needs.

When was the last time a wedding felt like something straight out of childhood memories, family albums, and stories our parents still talk about?

Sleepy afternoons where the floor became a bed.
Steel tumblers of coffee and tiffin boxes.
People sitting wherever they could find space.
Someone cutting vegetables in the backyard.
Someone laughing loudly from the corridor.
A house that never seemed to sleep.

The kind of wedding where nothing was perfect,
yet everything felt complete.
Not because everything went according to plan,
but because everyone belonged.
A wedding that felt less photographed
and more lived.

Somewhere between editorial and absolute nonsense!!

Looking at these frames, what stands out isn’t the wedding. It’s the personality. The bride peeking from behind the backdrop. The golf cart madness. The floral sherwani. The almost-kiss. The amphitheatre. It feels like a bunch of people having a ridiculously good time while a wedding happened around them.

The tiny Anush & Pratyusha sitting on top of the wedding cake probably had no idea they’d be eaten before the evening was over.

And honestly, that was the mood of the entire wedding.

Pratyusha was almost always caught mid-laugh - mid-run, people kept interrupting moments just to hug them again and again, and somewhere between the vintage car rides and the cake crumbs, the whole evening stopped feeling like an event.

It felt more like a house party nobody wanted to end.

The hugs that lasted a little longer.
The uncontrollable laughter.
The trembling smiles before the vows.
The wild dance floor energy.
And the kind of love that makes a hundred people feel something at once.

A long film, because stories like these deserve to be felt slowly. ❤️
