Ladakh memories
Two in the Himalayan Desert :
About half an hour to sunset. The sands in the Hunder desert in Ladakh,are bathed in the fast fading sunlight. They are undecided whether to take on a silver or a golden tinge. Seeing two characters descending from the hills, they hasten to select a mid-tone. Their reflective surface and soft, pointillistic texture do the rest to add a magic touch to ... well, just another evening in the earth calendar.
