Bruno Catalano is a world famous French sculpture artist, who is well known for his hollow bronze statues, that can be found installed around the world.

The prices range from 25k to 400k euros, for 2 feet to 6 feet height.

He makes what he feels interested in and doesn't create customized one's on commission assignments.

Each statue takes many months from idea concept to final output. A few are unique while a few are made into multiple copies in limited number editions.

There are only two galleries that exclusively sell his work, both in Paris, while one here is De Medicis.

Pune in India has many dams around its western side primarily for hydropower projects forming backwaters that stretch 50 to 100 kms. There are many Industries that run on these dam waters as well in their vicinity usually. Panshet, Mulshi, and Khadakwasla dams are one after another on the Mula river in stages, and water reservoirs for water supply to Pune.

The dams form backwaters, with beautiful lake side roads around. One such beautiful stretch is from Varasgaon dam, next to Panshet dam to Lavasa lake city, of around 30kms, through the Sahyadri mountain ranges, and offering a serene peaceful ride along.

Pune is one of the unique cities that has bountiful of nature with massive number of natural attractions just around 40kms away in many directions around it and is a treat for who loves nature adventure activities.

Keep India clean, don't throw garbage around in the nature, and be a responsible visitor.

Malshej ghat is one of the main ghats / hill roads with a historical significance to connect Mumbai/Konkan region with Pune / Nashik region.

The majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges in the front have some of the most well sought trekking trails including the trek to Harishchandra gad and Konkan kada, which is a massive verticle drop extended area of 1800 feet offering adventure seekers a thrill of lifetime to trek and rappel around.

Naneghat area closeby was an ancient trading route including during Raje Shivaji's time for bringing goods from konkan ports to Junnar region, the birthplace of Raje Shivaji.

Malshej ghat road looks spectacular during monsoon/ rains with hundreds of waterfalls directly splashing water on the road throughout and in the frontal mountains.

There is a MTDC (Maharashtra tourism development corporation) resort right on the right side where the ghat starts, offering spectacular views and stay.

Khandala ghat section on Mumbai Pune highway has some breathtaking views.

Here is one where a train towards Mumbai direction from Pune makes its way downhill through the tunnel at the Khandala ghat with Mumbai Pune express way passing next to it.

Have you been in this location to see this train view before? It's quite an unique view as you see three ways, Mumbai Pune express way, old Mumbai Pune highway, and the railway route.

Swiss villages have a standard look in the mountains and mostly have wooden houses. The bad weather wuth dark clouds and rain completely changes how the scene changes compared to the bright sunny weather.

Zaanse Schans is a model village created by setting up old windmills from different parts of the Netherlands to recreate old dutch village setup with houses and farms.

Its 20 mins by bus from Amsterdam and is a good place to get a feel of Dutch windmills.
