At the Kikkoman Culinary Experts Meet-Up 2026 at IHM Pusa, Shri Rajit Punhani, CEO of FSSAI, and Chef Manish Mehrotra, Founder Chef of Nisaba, shared a powerful reminder for the culinary community — great cooking begins with understanding what goes into every ingredient.
Today, flavour alone is no longer enough. The choices we make in the kitchen reflect our awareness, responsibility, and commitment to creating a better food future.
As the world of food continues to evolve, chefs are embracing a new role — not just as creators of taste, but as champions of transparency, knowledge, and conscious cooking.
Because every great dish starts with an informed choice.
