What merely kicked off as quest to put together all the Hansarian photographers has now become a much grand platform inculcating Mobilegraphers, Semi-DSLR users and people with skills in post-processing. The initiative was taken in January ’13 with a group of 10 people, mostly being non-DSLR users but ready to work for the growth of society. It is their dedication towards the society that the plat
form was made ready for the fresher that were to come in the next session. A group of 10 which never went beyond mere photowalks, was raised to 25 and figured about a lot of other things that could be achieved and the session begun. Starting off the session with a great orientation programme, stepping upon the success ladder one-by-one, putting in a great deal of energy and time, going through all the difficulties in the way, trying out various genres in photography, from meetings to workshops to photowalks to capturing the events to national level trips to ending the year with a Grand Fest – PLICKTURE ’14, everything is part of this beautiful memory lane that we have built up here and are still here to create even more in the coming years expecting some great responses from the fresher’s crowd, the following session. A lot has been achieved and a bigger lot is yet to be achieved, come and take on this journey with us and explore the photographer within you meanwhile.
