We go way back in History...1940..Late Shri L.C.Ram had set-up 4 photography shops, in Muree and Rawalpindi( now Pakistan). Then his son Late Shri Dev Raj Chopra ..joined him.He himself was a pioneer in the industry.Moving to India after partition ,he joined the Simla Studios and Kinsey Bros. and worked there for 23 years.My father Praveen Chopra ,got his training from his father and opened his ow
n Photography Business by the name of Studio Pinna in Kalkaji, New Delhi in 1976.34 years and still growing strong, he grew his business from a small shop to a big store. I finished my 12th grade in 1997 , but before camera came in hands,it was the year 1994 , when i got interested in photography.Handling 120mm camera and learning how to make prints in darkroom , gave me more liberty to experiment.I joined photography training for 6 months and then started clicking, joined the business in 2001 and then we shifted from Optical to Digital.It was the time when we expanded , renovated our showroom , new equipment. The first wedding shoots started in 2003 and since then there has been no looking back.Travelling from Delhi to different places for Weddings,Corporate Shoots , Products and all what i could get my hands on.In the Year 2010 We had our first international work to Hongkong and Indonesia for shoots,since then there has been no looking back . Beginning of 2011 , My base shifted to Copenhagen, Denmark and other Scandinavian Countries for Shoots with various Liquor companies and Scandinavia's Best Club ~ NASA for about 5 months. It was a new experience to explore the International markets full time . The journey has been exciting and difficult...it made me reach out to people of different cultures and exploring and carve a niche for myself there.
& now we launch our latest venture into Photography World
Rochanam Production. When i shoot , i make a personal bond with MY SUBJECTS..someone says , then they dont pose for you ..the camera starts clicking automatically.
