Swipe to see all photos!📸

If you’re a model/just wanna get your photos clicked by me, you’re always free to ask, but just lemme tell you - I’m a lazy a**. 🫩

Here’s the proof: these photos were clicked months ago, and I’ve always been lazy to edit them 🙂.

Even after being an MBA student I’m not doing any favors to my branding. 🙂

But I can assure you one thing - you WILL get decent photos out of me 😁

Also, just a request if you’re a fellow photographer, if you see me or any other fellow photographer out there, just clicking photos with models, please do ask before clicking photos of us/them, as it might make the model uncomfortable even if you don’t have any bad intentions. Thanks! 🫡

Here I am again 🥸

After attending classes everyday Monday-Sunday, we barely get any time to do anything at all. And I am one of those fools who travels a lot just to not get anything at all in classes. 🤓

BUT, I did go to India Gate, the trusted place again, and just started clicking photos again. Thought I won’t post anything, and was just going for my own peace of mind, but here I am! Thanks to for randomly giving the SRK pose right in front of my camera!! 🕺

I guess I’ve yapped enough for now, and just like how study - study for 30 mins take a break for hours, I’ll probably post after 3 months since now I’ve posted. 🙃

Gonna go study for mid-terms now, byeeee 🥲

😁☝🏻 (iykyk)

I’ve been thinking of a caption for long, but I couldn’t come up with anything so I’ll just get straight to some editing tips 😵‍💫

📌 To get that *little* bit of dreamy background, I usually end up using the masking tool. All of you lightroom lovers must already know, and even if you don’t, there are multiple masking types you can use - one of the most prominent ones being the radial filter and now the AI detector tool as well. 💫

- What I do is select the tool, place it over the subject, and invert it, and then go to the clarity bar and reduce the clarity as well the dehaze options to get that soft look. 💤
- I could also have just gone and asked the AI to detect the background for me, but then the consistency would vanish - it’s like painting, sometimes you want those certain colours to splash out of the boundaries of your sketch so that you can better use of them! 🎨

📌 One thing I don’t tend to reduce is the texture option - since if I reduce that as well, the whole subject would start to look WAY too smooth, and none of us want that right? 👽

📌 One thing I observed while editing was how Lightroom was showing red and blue colours on certain parts of the image. 🔴🔵
- Red for bright lights and blue for very dim ones. Remember, lightroom is there to make your life easier, it sort of shows that maybe the whites and the blacks in your image are way too high, either while editing or just during clicking the shots. It’s quite important to sort them out - as you want most of your photos attention directed to your subject! 🤸‍♀️

Although I myself still keep learning day-to-day, I do hope some of these tips are handful and do come of use to you if you read them! 🫂

More tips in future posts (hopefully if I visit the comic con this week 🤞🏻🤞🏻)

We did a photoshoot! 📸

Last week during Diwali holidays at our college, me and Meeeenaaakshiii or decided to head out to Qutub Minar, Delhi to do a portrait photoshoot! Turns out this was the first time for the both of us since we started MBA that we were doing something we like - photography for me, modelling for her! 🤩

This was the first time in over 6 months I was holding my camera - but old habits die hard I guess! And obviously, Meeeenaaakshiiii made everything even easier than it seems - she’s a natural! 💃

Even though my hands are a bit rusty, I’d still like to take you all through my process:

📌 We arrived at Qutub Minar early morning, so as to not face too much crowd who could intrude into the photoshoot, so timing was key. 🔑
📌 We focused on as much natural poses and expressions as possible - Meeeenaaakshii is always smiling, so it was easier! 😁
📌 In the editing process, I knew my previous presets wouldn’t work. So I relied more on the default skin tone presets of Lightroom to guide me initially, and then using Masking - to get the subject in as much attention as possible in the photographs. 🎭
📌 While editing, it’s important to use all the sliders in a limited manner - we can’t go and edit with +50 or -70, they have to be in control - try to limit them to max of +/-30 at most. 👾

Hey everyone! 🙋🏻

It’s been a very, very long time since I posted, kinda feels weird doing this again! I feel as if I’m some sort of a WWE wrestler or a sportsperson coming back from a LONG injury lay-off! 🥲

Personal commitments are just that tho aren’t they? They take off a lot of your time and you gotta set your priorities! Even as I’m posting this, I see so many “New” features which I don’t get, got no idea how this app has developed over the months or if the posts reach at all! But aside from that, it’s good to be back! Hopefully I’ll be able to find some new things to post from time to time - I do feel VERY rusty, to a point where even holding the camera felt weird. 🙃

Anyway, I’ll stop yapping about now, and hopefully I’ll be back consistently, at least for some time! These pics right here are from an art exhibition that’s been on at Red Fort, Delhi. It will be going on till 31st March, 2024, so if you ever want to visit it, the time is now! From contemporary to modern art, there’s everything - and the experience was quite good! Also, you get to visit Red Fort again, so two birds with one stone! 🫠

I wanna read about Indian and Hindu mythology history, can anyone recommend any good books? I’d even read the fictional ones!

Also, I mistakenly clicked the last picture without any focus, but for some reason I really liked that one! Idk, I kind of it a bit aesthetic and different from the usual sharp images.

Which picture was your favourite?!

I decided to make my photos look like advertisements!

What’s your thoughts? Which one did you like the best? Did you like the ones with phrases on them or without?!

All the artists performed for an event called “Vandemataram” past Sunday. It was incredible, sometimes I just end up wondering,”how do people have SO MUCH TALENT?!!”

The insane amount of creativity is genuinely out of this world. Whether it be performing through yoga, or dance, or even using flashlights(!), it’s incredible!

Happy Holi! 💛💙

I hope that this festival of colours brings you guys all the joy and happiness that you want!

Even if you don’t celebrate, I still hope that you have a wonderful year, and you’re able to achieve what you set out for!

These pictures are from a Rajasthani Group’s performance where everybody was enjoying the festivities with dances, colours and obviously, the beautiful songs!

Photographing people while they’re enjoying is just another level of fun! It’s so natural, and the photos always come out so beautiful, that it’s so so fun to edit them in Lightroom/Photoshop/ any editing app! This was the case here too!

I hope you enjoy your Holiday as much as these people enjoyed themselves and more! Have a wonderful Holi everyone! 😇

I’ve been so inconsistent lately that I think I’ve forgotten how to do this thing…

After all of my shenanigans with stuff involving attending weddings, getting food stuffed in my mouth by 4-5 men by force (I didn’t stutter) and just enjoying a bit of time, I’ve completely been ignoring this stuff of photography 📸

But now I plan to get back to it regularly now that match is coming around. I can’t lie, I even forgot how to edit properly, so I really need to get back to this 💀.

But anyways, lemme know if there’s any events going on worth attending! I might as well go check it out when I have time!

Rhythm.

Had an amazing time witnessing last weekend at Kartavya Path! Their event was part of celebrations and performances/events that happen at Kartavya Path, every Saturday and Sunday!

Watching these bands live with a completely different way of performing to so called “conventional” style is a beautiful experience for sure! The performance was so good I kind of felt bad witnessing it for free! But at the same time, I feel very lucky to have witnessed something so different yet so so amazing!

Please do check out their account and make sure to support them! We need as many people supporting our nation’s talented artists as possible! Especially when they’re as good as this band right here!
