My idea behind this shot was to capture a fusion between the daily and tourist life in the holy city of Varanasi.

Early morning, I saw many boats carrying photographers and tourists, people taking dip in the holy water of Ganga and what not.

Using the live focus and tracking feature it was easy to track the movement of the boat which was near to the camera lens.
And enabling the touch and shoot feature of the EOSM50 just did the right thing.

These features have come really handy when you can not predict the movement of your subject and can not stage your shot.
Clicked using the kit lens EF-M15-45mm.

Early morning scenes on the ghats of the holy city of Varanasi are always a feast to eyes.
The ghat was too wet and slippery when I sat down to manage this moment.

And at one point I even slipped as sitting was not at all possible. Because the idea was to compose a shot where I can capture a part of ghat with the remains of the Pooja along with the water and of course the main subjects.

I made myself bend down forward and twisted the screen of the camera so that my position does not effect my framing.

The weight and the size of the camera is an added advantage in such tricky situations where balancing yourself is tough, but with the light weight EOSM50 that comes with the kit lens EF-M15-45mm managing the camera has never been a problem.
Waited for the right moment and clicked it, only made possible because of the articulating touch screen.
