Enoshima Benten Bridge.
It was a slow evening walk on the bridge. Quiet. Peaceful. Serene.

The Bridge takes its name from the goddess Benten (Benzaiten), a deity of music, eloquence, and wealth. According to local lore, she caused the island itself to rise from the bottom of the sea during the sixth century.

It is a rare comfort to find a place that simply asks you to stand still, listen to the water, and just be. Hakone is one of them. Hakone has historically been a place of mandatory pause. During the Edo period, it served as a strict checkpoint on the Old Tokaido road, halting travelers moving between Kyoto and Edo. Camel fairs are very popular in the , as beautifully ornated camels visit annually, which is an exquisite site to watch.
Did you know how the Camel Fairs became popular? In early times, the Camel Fairs were organised for all camel owners and cattle breeders to come together and start their business.
With such ornate decorations and a blast of colours, the festival has been made popular for all to come and experience the warmth, festive of the place.
