Some people wait for the rain to pass. Aniket and Aditi went looking for the puddles.

That’s how they are with everything. Whatever the day brings, they take it on together, and somehow it always ends up looking like it was their idea. An umbrella neither of them was really using, a laugh that started with one and finished with the other, glances that made us lower the camera for a second because the moment already belonged to them.

In the middle of a city that never stops moving, they found its quietest corner and made it their own. A little wild, a little tender, and entirely theirs 🤍

Jayati & Yatharth’s wedding felt like stepping into a living tradition.

The floors carried fresh rangoli, the corridors glowed with nauvaris, and the air was full of flowers and music. The joy was everywhere… in the laughter of the women gathered in the courtyard, in a sangeet that turned into a spectacle, in a baraat that took over the streets, and in the fireworks that lit up their varmala.

Right in the middle of it were the two of them, as happy to be among their people as they were to be married🤍✨

Every baraat still has its band, and they’re still the ones who get everyone dancing on the way in. But once the party moves indoors and the DJ takes over, the band usually finds a corner to play from for the rest of the night.

That’s where we found this gentleman. We were busy with the dance floor at the after-party, and when we turned around for a second, there he was in his full red uniform, playing with the kind of energy you’d expect at the front of a baraat, not next to a DJ console.

He was giving that trumpet everything he had... although from the look on his face, his eyes had found something on the dance floor a little more interesting than the music. We didn’t ask, and he didn’t miss a single note.

It wasn’t a shot we were looking for that night, but it’s easily become one of our favourites.

Sakshi and Karan bonded over their mutual love for dogs on their first coffee date, and somewhere between that and a second meeting two weeks later, they just knew.

He’s the calm one, she’s the storm,
and honestly, you could feel both of them
all through the wedding.

All they asked for was three dry days at Raffles, Udaipur. It rained on every one of them. So the pheras happened under a sea of umbrellas, the baraat danced like nobody had checked the forecast, and by the last night the kids had taken over the dance floor. Safe to say, the rain didn’t stand a chance.

A month in, and what better day to look back at where it all began…

There’s a moment in every Talambralu where it stops being a ritual and turns into a game.

For Bhuvana and Dheeraj, it was this one. She kept pouring the pearls over him, handful after handful, like she was giving him all the love she had at once. And Dheeraj just stood there and took it... eyes squeezed shut, a smile he couldn’t quite hide, loving every bit of it and maybe a little nervous about the next round.

It all lasted a few seconds. But it’s one of those frames we keep coming back to, because it says more about the two of them than we ever could.

Divian and Anushka were best friends long before they were anything else.

And it showed all weekend... in the way they kept turning to each other in the middle of rituals, in the inside jokes we were never let in on, and in how easily they went from fireworks at the varmala to bunny ears and basketball at the after-party.

There was a lot of grandeur around them. A baraat entry under a crescent moon, petals that just wouldn’t stop falling, a reception that felt more like a concert. But every time we looked through the lens, it was still just the two of them, laughing like nobody else was in the room.

Second time at GIWA. 10 wins and another Green GIWA for the highest tally in Wedding Photography.

What a way to break records!

There’s something special about seeing moments that once quietly belonged to a wedding find their way here. That’s really what it has always been about for us. The people, the stories, and the little things we were lucky enough to notice.

Getting here, though, sent us down quite the rabbit hole. Weeks of culling, 2 AM reviews, edits over edits, with hard drives and Diet Cokes as our survival kit🤭

To be recognised for all of it feels equal parts humbling and thrilling.

Thank you ICWF for giving these stories a place to be celebrated. To our couples, these were your moments before they were ever our entries. And to our team, this one is every bit yours.

Six years on, and this one still finds its way back to us.

Ansh & Bobana’s Indian wedding in Antalya was such a joy to be part of… two worlds coming together and somehow making complete sense.

Ansh rolled in dapper as ever, in a convertible, with dholwalas and Turkish folk artists turning his entry into its own little celebration. And then Bobana arrived in a traditional Indian palki, to the sound of Indian songs, and the whole beach just went quiet for a second.

They sat down for pheras just as the light turned golden. And it’s one memory that we’ll keep coming back to for years to come.
