ur hobby or profession; You may be an amateur, a professional, a manufacturer, a dealer or connected with photography in any way, IIPC invites you to join the family of Photographers from all over the world. IIPC is a worldwide organization for the promotion of all branches of photography. The RPS (Royal Photographic Society of United Kingdom) and the PSA (Photographic Society of America) are the two other international bodies concerned with the advancement of photographic art and science. These two being in the West, a vacuum was left in the eastern hemisphere. This lacuna was felt by many eminent photographers in India and abroad. In 1983 on the lines of the PSA and the RPS, “INDIA INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC COUNCIL” with its head office in New Delhi was founded. In a short span of 27 years IIPC has become a fast growing International body. Direct and Indirect membership of amateur and professional photographers from around the globe has crossed the 10,000 mark. Photographers and photo art lovers are enlisting themselves not only from within the country but also from countries like the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, HongKong, Canada, Finland, Pakistan, Norway, Belgium, France, Singapore, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Croatia, Afghanistan, Australia, Malaysia, Nepal, China, Sri Lanka, Egypt. Many legendary photographic personalities are amongst the founders and also members and Life members of India International Photographic Council.
