Benefits of Doing colour analysis - Clearing your doubts 💯

I have been doing colour analysis from years now, if you are new it's been the best selling services of mine, few ladies asked me about its benefit and why everyone is talking about colours. Today I want to share benefits of colour analysis.

⁉️Many ladies find it unnecessary, because I only wear neutral colours. Neutral colours are supposed to look good on everyone isn't it?

🌟 My answer: Well ladies, who don't know their best colours might end up buying neutrals which won't compliment them (we all have different neutrals) as a result their face imperfections like pores, dark circles and pigmentation appears more. Because our best colours makes us glow and worst colours will highlight your imperfections.

⁉️I found few YouTube vedios on how to find right colours, so would it be necessary to go to a professional if I can do by just watching YouTube vedios?

🌟 My answer - See there are plenty of YouTube vedios, there's a lot of information about this but let me tell you many ladies who come to me for colour analysis, thinking they got their right colours and sadly none of them got it right. It's not just colours but shades, contrast, hues and most important your body type and essence. Of course you can get a idea about how colour analysis works but it's completely different from what you will get out of professional colour analysis.

⁉️ There are few colours I love to wear but sadly they won't work for me. So what can I do to make it work?

🌟My answer- I am glad to tell you that every colour has its both cool and warm element, by looking to your colour analysis results we give you your best colours of every colour family. However, if you love for example, maroon red and you are warm skin, there are so many ways to make that colour work for you. Wearing it away from face, wearing off shoulder dress/top of that colour and balancing it with makeup 💄.

⁉️ Do you provide just clothing colours for your colour analysis?

🌟 My answer- No, it will come with makeup colours, hair colours and many more things in which colours are included in your clothing and surrounding.

⁉️ Sometimes I find myself warm and sometimes cool. Is it possible to change undertones.

🌟 My answer - No, it's not possible. Undertones remain same throughout life it's only overtones which are changing as per weather. That's why you need a professional analysis so that you can get a good idea about how colours work with your skin tone.

⁉️ Is it really worth the hype?

🌟My answer- All the best dressed celebrities, royal family members,influencers and models go for colour analysis first so that they can choose their clothing and accessories accordingly. They want to look their best every time and they do look best because of their smart choices.

Does physical attractiveness matters 🤔?

I have encountered this question numerous times as a part of my job. Well, there are a lot of answers to this question, in an overview I will say it does matter to an extent (a very good extent) for creating an impression on another person, and for lasting impact you need to have good manners, behavior, and body language skills. Here I have attached a study done to know consumers' behavior concerning salesperson's attractiveness.

A study states how the physical attractiveness of salespeople and other customers and self-self-image congruenceluence customer perception and brand attitude. As a result of a pretest, four types of pictorial stimuli were developed: physical attractiveness of salespeople (high/low) × that of other customers (high/low). Stimuli were developed using Photoshop CS. A total of 550 samples in two experiments were used and respondents were women in their 20s and 30s. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and SEM.

The result shows that the physical attractiveness of sale the person had a significant impact on perceived quality, but that of other customers did not.

However, self-image congruence with other customers shows a significant effect on perceived quality; however, salespeople did not. The impact of livedived product quality on brand attitude is higher than perceived service quality. This study adds to fashion retailing literature by demonstrating that physical attractiveness and self-image congruence can influence a customer's perception of product or service quality and brand attitude. It provides interesting insight into how retailers can use social factors as a strategic tool in a retail setting.

Vintage Balenciaga ✨

While many of us are used to seeing Balenciaga's current ugly and trendy designs the original designs by founder Cristóbal Balenciaga was so elegant, classy and timeless.

Spanish brand Balenciaga was established in the Basque Country in Spain before relocating to France and opening a boutique store in Paris in 1937 as a result of the Spanish Civil War.Balenciaga used sleek and linear lines in the post-war era that deviated from Christian Dior’s hourglass shape popularized at the time. They revolutionized women’s fashion in the 1950s, and by the 1960s had developed trademark styles such as the collar deviating from the collar bone, and the “bracelet sleeves.”

Balenciaga was acquired by multinational French company Kering in 2001 – who own Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and Alexander McQueen among others – and was pegged as the company’s fastest growing brand in 2018.

Repeating outfits like a Pro (Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia edition)

Outfit repeating is wearing the same outfit over & over again, but making it feel fresh & new each time. It's a sustainable way to style yourself and helps you get the most out of your wardrobe without buying anything new.

Outfit repetition is a skill every woman should master. All women are guilty of saying something like, “do you think anyone will notice if I wear the same thing I wore earlier this month?” The answer to this question is no. For proof, you can see the pictures I attached below, I am most of you didn't realise that Kate and Queen Letizia are repeating an outfit unless you see these pictures.

It's not only these two but many royals and celebrities repeat outfits, there's no shame in that, you spend so much money and time on your outfits, we all have our favourites and no, nobody will think you have only a few clothing pieces that you mostly wear only if you know the art of repeating outfits.

See how each outfit is different from the other one. I will give you a few practical tips on how you can repeat your outfit without anyone noticing it.

💎 Wear outfits with different accessories like different shoes, handbags, coats, sunglasses, hats and jewellery. Without accessories outfit is nothing.

💎Wear different hairstyles and make-up, if you made a sleek hairstyle last time with smokey eyes this time go for wavy hair with red or any other bright lips and subtle eyes.

How to dress up - For Petite ladies edition ✨❤️

I got a suggestion from a lady in my previous post about the best way to dress up for a petite lady and here's my answer.

See there is a lot to consider while dressing up whether it's a tall lady or a petite one. Everybody has his best and not-so-good features it's my job as a stylist and image consultant to help you how to present your best self. Since I can't personally give suggestions to every petite lady everyone is different but the major things to see while dressing and shopping are:

💎 Try to wear the same colour footwear as your trousers and if you are wearing dresses go for n**e heels or heels which will lengthen your legs.

💎 Stay away from heels with ankle straps because it cuts your legs making them appear shorter.

💎 Monochromatic looks are your best friend because they make the body appear longer.

💎 Stay away from big prints that can overwhelm most of the petite ladies.

💎As for trousers, I would say to look at your body and check if you have a long or short torso. If you have a short torso go for mid-rise pants and if you have long legs go for long pants, especially boots cut pants are great for lengthening effects if your body allows it to wear them.

💎 For tops - Go for V-neck tops, off shoulder tops, 3/4th sleeves and boat neck tops.

💎 Don't carry extremely large bag, it won't go with your body type.

💎 When wearing coat, tie belt above your waistline to create illusion of longer legs.

How your ideal wardrobe should be?

Ladies, if you are not rationally thinking when it comes to spending money on clothing you might end up with number of dresses you buy out of excitement of just having something new, I call it impulse happiness which we get when we get something new.

If you are working in corporate environment, own a business, you are a house wife, a woman who's levelling up for dating and networking, a student or any job in which you have to meet people, you have to represent yourself to people then you need to think about your wardrobe and how you will represent yourself to people.

See, everyone's ideal wardrobe is different from someone else who's having a completely different life. Here I will give you a very basic idea of what it should be like:

1. Staple pieces (60-70%): Depending on the work you do most of the time for example if you are a student or works in a corporate environment you need set of formal dresses and things which will suit that environment. But if you are at home wife your needs will be different.

2. Occasion wear (20-30%) : This percentage might increase if you're continuously attending parties or events but in general you should invest only 20-30% in occasion wear. Sadly many ladies invest more in occasion wear outfits than staple pieces that's why they end up with the feeling they have nothing to wear.

3. Experimental outfits ( 10-5%): I know most of my audience is not into blindly following trends but as a stylist and image consultant I came across a lot of trends which are classy and elegant so you should be trying new things, you never know what's best yet to come.

How to find perfect fit for yourself?

As promised today I want to give you few insights on how you can find perfect fit for yourself. Firstly ask yourself a question are you comfortable and able to express yourself in extremely fitted silhouettes or you are more comfortable in loose silhouettes. Of course you can alter your garments with your tailor but first you need to make it clear in what kind of fit you are most comfortable because that should be your 60% of the wardrobe.

🌟 If you want to show off your curves but wants to wear loose clothing add a belt or tailor it around waist line.

🌟 If you want to wear fitted clothing but have excess weight in upper or lower body, try to wear loose clothing in heavy portion of your body and fitted clothing in thin or normal portion of your body.

Red ♥️

It's the best colour to wear if you want attention. Many influencers advice to wear this on date. Lots of energict emotions are communicated when you wear red like love, passion, anger etc. Do you know colours communicate energies? Red is the colour you can wear all year round and this will be never out of style.

Before wearing red I want you to consider few things:

1. Buy red in your colour family, make sure you know your best colours and I already made so many post on your best colours. Wrong shade of red can make your imperfections more obvious like any other wrong colour.

2. Don't wear any dress without wearing certain accessories that will help to uplift the level of dress you are wearing. For example, look at the photographs I have attached and can you get a single photo in which the dress looks good on its own? No right. So invest in accessories like bag, jwellery,shoes and shades.

3. Make sure your garment fit well, how to find perfect fit for yourself? I will make a post on this soon.

Last picture is mine in which I wore my shade of red colour ❤️.It's me in my maroon red colour, since I am olive with high contrast skin my requirements of red is different than a lady with same skin tone but with different hues and contrast.
