Day 7 and 8: Hanle - Tso Moriri

Leaving the enchanting Hanle behind, we ventured on. The road to Nyoma treated us to incredible vistas and smooth tarmac, but gradually turned into challenging off-road terrain. Crossing the Indus River at Mahe, we journeyed on to Sumdo. Our spirits were lifted by the awe-inspiring sights of Kiagar Tso and Tso Moriri, with the latter towering at 14,836 ft.

After a scenic halt by the lake, a sudden hailstorm caught us off guard, adding a touch of unpredictability to the journey. 🏍️🏔️

A Journey to the Roof of the World 🌍....
Day 6: Umling la

With excitement and some apprehension, we fueled up in Hanley and set out. Initially planning a tarmac route both ways, we chose off-road for the first leg and a different route back.

After navigating a challenging dirt section, the landscape unveiled a breathtaking wilderness, with Umling La peak at 19,024 feet in the distance.

We reached the summit together, raised our flag, took a group photo, and celebrated BMOC Chandigarh's status as the largest official motorcycle group to conquer such heights.

Swiftly descending due to altitude concerns, we headed to the world's 6th highest pass, Photi La, at 18,124 feet. Unexpectedly, it started snowing. On the other side, a series of loops led us back to warmth in Hanle.

Though words can't capture it all, these unforgettable memories will be with us forever.

Day 4 & 5: Leh-Hanle

With Leh's spirit in our veins, we embarked on a daring journey to Hanle. Leaving the Leh-Manali highway at Upshi, the landscape transformed, rivaling the Grand Canyons.

We cruised along the Indus River, passing Mahe, Nyoma, and Loma on surprisingly smooth roads. High-altitude raindrops added thrill, amplifying the natural beauty.

The mountains revealed an ever-shifting palette, while lush pastures, enigmatic mists, and distant peaks left us awestruck.

Arriving in Hanle, our hearts brimmed with excitement, anticipating the thrill of conquering the planet's highest motor-able road tomorrow.

Day 1-3: Chandigarh - Srinagar - Leh

With over 30 adrenaline-fueled riders, our journey from Chandigarh to Leh was a thrilling odyssey. We conquered 600 challenging kilometers on Day 1, reaching Srinagar in daylight. Day 2 took us through the legendary Srinagar to Leh route, with breathtaking landscapes and a stop at the Kargil War Memorial. Leh welcomed us for three nights of adventure.
