Every birth brought them together.
Every destiny pulled them apart.

She was his longing,
and he was her eternal home.

He was the melody; she was the love within it.
He was the universe; she was his soul.

Across lifetimes, they met,
across lifetimes, they fell in love,
and across lifetimes, they parted.

Perhaps that was their divine play—
for Radha was never separate from Krishna,
nor Krishna from Radha.

They were never two souls destined to unite.
