उहाँहरूले केवल हिमालको शिखर मात्र होइन, नेपाली साहस, दृढ संकल्प र असम्भवलाई सम्भव बनाउने आत्मविश्वासलाई पनि संसारभर चिनाउनुभयो। उहाँहरूको योगदान सधैं इतिहासमा अमिट रहनेछ।

यो दुःखद घडीमा शोकसन्तप्त परिवार, आफन्त, साथीहरू तथा विश्व पर्वतारोहण समुदायप्रति गहिरो समवेदना व्यक्त गर्दछौं।

हिमालले आज आफ्ना केही असल सन्तानहरू गुमाएको छ। तर उनीहरूको साहस, प्रेरणा र सम्झना सधैं हिमालझैं अटल रहनेछ।
