The Orion is around 1500+ light years away, which is kinda close in space distance terms. The Orion Nebula lies in the Orion constellation and is visible in during winter. The constellation is very easy to locate even from light polluted cities, but locating the Orion Nebula takes a while if you are new to this, but still visible from light polluted locations if you know where to look at. It's fairly bright, colorful and has beautiful dust lanes which makes it one of the most photographed deep sky object. The Orion Nebula is a vast region of gas & dust where stars are born. If you're interested in seeing these try finding the Orion constellation using Android or iOS apps such as or for PC or phills for iOS to locate the Constellation. In the Constellation there are three stars in a straight line ( also known as the Hunter's belt) . The nebula is located on the right ride of one of the stars.

Multiple exposures blended (64 bit) was done as Orion is very bright, in order to get a view of the dust clouds longer exposures had to be taken which did blow out the core, hence multiple exposures. Basically a HDR image.
