ORION - Constellation Mapping

Capturing the Orion constellation has been a dream since my college days. The iconic 'Orion's Belt,' formed by the three stars always drew my attention. Orion is the most recognizable constellation in the world. Taken with my Nikon D5200 (ISO 100, 15-second exposure) and mapped to reveal its iconic form.

Hamta Pass, Manali, Himachal Pradesh.

Capturing snow has always been one of my dreams. Shot this from the place where i stayed. It was about to rain & the view was surreal. I took my DSLR out with my 300 mm lens & composed the frame with three layers of monochrome. Front hills, Trees covered with a little snow & ice capped mountains. The whole scene was changing due to sudden rains.
Ever since childhood, I wanted to visit the Himalayas once I have become financially independent. Then this happened in 2023 after my marriage.

Ooranis looks so admirable when they are shot from top with their definite shapes amidst the locality. I shot this photo when I was exploring my drone for the first time. Ooranis are huge water tanks that collect rainwater. They have different shapes and sizes, but they all look stunning from above. There are three ooranis in my hometown, one square and two circular. They are usually located near temples. I was so excited when I saw them on my controller screen as I flew my drone 1.5 kilometers away. They are such a beautiful sight to behold.

500th post on Instagram. (Painting with light)

2014 is when I started posting my photographs in social media. Initially it was on Facebook then on Instagram. 3rd picture from left was the first picture I posted in social media & I pinged everyone of my friends in DM to see my post and give a feedback if they felt that the photograph was really good. They all commented, they encouragd me over years. I can still see people not posting photos on social media even though they take amazing photos like I did before! Please do not hesitate to share your photographs, photographs can spread happiness. Trust me, my photographs did & your photographs can do too. Shoutout to my friends for always being there .jpeg .karthikeyan .sekar .wild .iishhh .gundu .suryakanta and all my followers. My inspiring !

Konark Chariot Wheel.

That amazing feel you get when you witness breathtaking view of huge wheels at Konark Sun Temple, Odisha. We were late to konark , we reached there by 5:45 and by that time Sun had already set.My dslr was unable to bring out the wheel details since the shutter had become long without tripod during late evening. Pixel camera was able to bring almost whole details of the wheel even at low light.

Wheel no 6 as you move clockwise around the temple is the wheel on our Rs 10/- note.

Red Vented Bulbul.

Hunted for the same Red Vented Bulbul very next day and captured all these. Showcasing 3 out of 415 shots captured. The whole beauty lies within that contrasting red vent at the back, how Amazing nature is!!
