A few different extracts that we shot for Heart & Harvest

There's something about working with those big boi lemons that warms my heart each time. The aroma surely helps :p

As someone that's used to the Indian limes we use as lemons this was always that "costly foreign ingredient" and it truly does taste and smell entirely different to what we're used to otherwise.

If you do bake, so highly encourage you to try these out. Even if you can get your hands on one, the zest from these alone make it entirely worth it and a little goes a long way too!

What's in a name? For Prasad, co-founder of The Hedonist, it's both cheeky and philosophical.

We spoke about why they chose a word that celebrates pleasure as the guiding principle, not indulgence for its own sake, but the idea that great food, genuine vibes, and shared company are what make a memory stick. Their pop-ups are built around that: exclusive tasting menus, talented chefs, and a table full of strangers becoming friends.

This clip has us in conversation, but it's been cut together with some of the food visuals from their own world. It's a small attempt to let the experience feel as close as it sounded when Prasad described it.

Happy Pride everyone!

As always the pride parade in Chennai was an absolute blast.

I do quite terribly with crowds and loud sounds but after missing it last year we made it a point to go this year to show our allyship because it is one of those few causes we can physically show up for :)

And to mix it up (wife's orders) we present to you GAYTOS 😂 We've never heard Kratos' thoughts on pride but I have a feeling he's one to stand up for the minority (at least in the new games lol) so here we are!

Did any of you join the parade this time around as well? Definitely ran into a few people I know off of Instagram but would love to know if you also went!

I miss Horizontal imagery.

I hate how we now think only in the vertical format due to the majority of use cases being for Instagram reels and YouTube Shorts or tiktok (if you make content for clients outside India)

There's something so deeply unnatural about the vertical format, it can be really nice for certain types of videos but man does horizontal hit different.

Feels so much fuller and there's so much room to include elaborate setups when envisioning a horizontal scene.

There are some pieces of work that turn out so much like everything you ever imagined and this is absolutely one of them.

An arguably simple shot but I remember about 9 years ago where I tried to shoot my first "Pinteresty" food setup and it turned out to be not even close, I was so disappointed but there was a thrill in chasing that light and I'd forgotten how magical it actually is to create a setup from scratch and use it as a canvas to bring a vision to life.

This was a moment I realized I actually did that. I'm usually not so happy about setups, I barely take the time to appreciate or enjoy them but this one... I was proud of, hence the POV BTS hehe

I'd love to see a shot that made you proud and made you feel this way about your own work no matter how simple or easy it looks. If you do have work like that, do tag me and say something like "this one is for me" so that I know, I'm in need of art that the artist cherishes without hesitation so pls help!

I have so so so many shots that we worked really hard on to bring to life, this is the first of many that you guys will get to see.

Whenever a client brings a detailed setup to me AND has the budget to match, gotta be honest it scares me a little. This one sure did.

Because there is that pressure of not only coming up with a vision but also doing whatever it takes to bring it to life.

Actually there were a few in the series that felt way way out of my comfort zone but here is where we start.

Thoroughly enjoyed trying to get this one right and getting the damn syrup right on the waffles was probably a career top 10 most hellish experiences, highly reccomend 👍🏻

It's been difficult to stay on top of posting alongside work and it is increasingly difficult to not feel like work just going into the void with how the algo works but hey...

If you make something beautiful and need someone to help people see it, I'm open for projects :)
