When I watch a Sanjay Leela Bansali movie, I am blown away by the magic of his lighting and scenes. He truly brings the fantasy world to life. It's amazing how he can make a simple everyday "normal" scene look like a work of art.

Normal..... we have become so used to the extraordinary they seem ordinary to the average human. Nothing about the world and the universe is normal. Nothing about creation is normal. Making a baby is not normal... it is an unbelievable, magical, against-all-odds event that we take for granted coz it seems common. Our very existence is a fantasy... is magical. And when it hits us at that point that so many intricate details need to be in absolute perfect sync to make that one "normal" thing happen... it's just ... WOW.

Exploring the miracle of creation through art has been such a magical and awe-inspiring experience. I had the opportunity to work with an amazing mom-to-be who trusted the process and allowed me to create a fantasy and almost cosmic interpretation of her pregnancy. The beauty and intricacy of the cosmos is truly reflected in the creation of new life. Not a ravi varma... but a painting nonetheless.

Just wrapped up one of my favorite projects and I couldn't be more proud of the end result. The client's brief was clear, but the pre-production for the concept was the real challenge. And you know what? I love a challenge. Some ideas were pre-planned, but others sparked after my interaction with the family and their chemistry on camera. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Watching a daughter, who is pregnant with her own baby, become a mother is one of the most incredible experiences of moms life. It's a reminder that the bond between a mother and her child is truly unbreakable. Passing the torch and watching this mom to be with her mum, just wow!. There's nothing more important to a baby than a family who loves 'em.
