To give a lil context - the Roll period of a vessel is the time it takes for a vessel to complete one roll cycle ... ie Upright -to- extreme port -to extreme starboard - back to Upright.
This shot was taken at a time when I just started out experimenting with Long Exposures and thought ... hmmm how would it look if the shutter was left open for the duration a roll .
This was the result. If you look closely the horizon looks like two thin wedges on either side of the mast.

You see so many pictures of these fierce creatures displaying their magnificent fangs ... then when its your turn to capture the moment ... you realise you’re not capturing a ferocity ... you’re just capturing a cat Yawn !
In all fairness to his ferocity he was sitting and staring at a potential prey, which was being wary of his presence, in a clearing nearby.
But we soon realised he was rather disinterested judging by the fact he fell to the side and was lying down. Probably had his fill for the day and was retiring.
