Fireflies winging to the Galactic Core

After scouting for a week for a good location with less light pollution, I finally found the composition. Went out in the evening to shoot but due to Rain that was a failed attempt. The next day again I went out in the evening but today monsoon clouds delayed the timings hence I Shot the FG easily. Waited for almost 4 hours and luckily the clouds were clear and I managed to take this shot. This is a tricky spot because the air is often very wet, which helped bring fireflies sheltering themselves in the muddy areas of the standing water. The yellow airglow is from my hometown Manendragarh.

This image shows the captivating beauty of the starry sky above our heads! The full 180° stretch of the summer Milkyway is visible.

I always wanted to capture a panorama like this but never really knew how to or had the right conditions to capture one. Now that I am at a very dark sky location, away from the city, I got an opportunity to take my dream shot just before the monsoon starts.
