Sandhya & Kartik

A few years back… but honestly, this still feels like yesterday.

It was a beautiful morning.
Soft light. Quiet air.
And yet another series where nothing is posed, as usual.

Just two people, sinking into the moment.
Laughing mid-sentence.
Leaning in without thinking.
And somehow making a small corner feel like their whole world.

We still remember the warmth of that day… the silhouettes, the sun flares, the way they kept finding each other even when they weren’t looking.

So here’s the throwback.
Still fresh…. Still full of feeling.

ARUN + MIRUTHULAH, CHENNAI

Some weddings are loud in the way they look.
This one was loud in the way it felt.

Arun and Miruthulah are the kind of couple who don’t perform love.
They just live inside it.

The portraits felt like soft pauses between all the beautiful chaos.
A smile caught in a corridor.
A glance held a little longer than usual.
A frame within a frame, like the world was outside… and they were safely inside their own.

And then the wedding took over.
Garlands flying, rose petals raining, people cheering, families pressing in close.
That kind of crowd where you can’t hear one voice… only emotion.

But even there, they found each other.
Again and again.

That’s what we loved most about this day.
How the calm and the celebration weren’t opposites.
They were both true.
Just like them.

Raji and Reece’s wedding at the beautiful Rina’s venue felt less like an event and more like a gathering of worlds. Two families, two cultures, one long, laughter-filled day where everything slowly found its rhythm.

There were quiet moments. Hands held. Eyes searching for each other in the middle of rituals. And then there were moments where the room simply burst into joy. Petals in the air, friends cheering, people forgetting to be guests and becoming part of the story.

One of our favourite frames from the day is Reece and his gang, proudly wearing silk veshtis for the first time. You can see it on their faces, the happiness of stepping into a new culture, the fun of it, the feeling of belonging. That one photograph says so much about this wedding. It wasn’t just about watching traditions. It was about embracing them.

And through it all, Raji and Reece stayed exactly who they are. Warm, present, full of laughter, finding each other in the middle of the chaos and the calm.

This wasn’t a loud wedding or a quiet one. It was both. Full of colour, full of feeling, and full of small, honest moments that will keep living long after the day is over.

Arjun & Jeyashri — this one’s close to our hearts.

Having known them both in different moments of life, watching their worlds come together felt like everything falling perfectly into place. Their wedding was so unapologetically them — warm, joyful, and full of laughter.

And to top it all off, their close friend, actor Ravi Mohan , brought the house down with a hilarious, heartfelt speech during the sangeet — a narration that perfectly summed up who they are as a couple.

Sharing some moments from their beautiful wedding before the full film premieres soon on our YouTube channel.

A little morning adventure with Priya & Shreyas — from the streets of Mylapore to a quiet moment by a temple ratham, and a spontaneous train ride in between. More than the places we stopped at, it was the time spent together that made it special. Just easy laughter, curious glances, and the kind of comfort that makes us look forward to their wedding even more. :)

It feels so special to bring you Prapti & Love’s wedding film. Every slide in this carousel holds a little piece of their world — the joy, the intimacy, the warmth of families coming together. What we love most about them is how they’re always just themselves, unbothered by the noise around, and that honesty makes the story so much richer.

For us, it’s never about staging moments it’s about staying true to the people, the way they love, and the way life flows around them.

Their full film will be up on our YouTube channel soon.

Jeyashri & Arjun
Mitham, Chennai

MUA -

Some weddings feel like full circle moments. This was one of them.

We had photographed Jeyashri’s brother Maruthi’s wedding nearly six years ago, a quiet, beautiful celebration of closeness. And around the same time, I met Arjun on a very different set — he was playing the lead in a little web series called America Mappillai, which I directed and produced.

To now witness the two of them, together, in love, and promising a lifetime…it’s something else. It’s like life brings people into your orbit when the time is right, when you’re ready, when balance is found.

They are easy. Natural. Comfortable in silence, and joyful in the loudest of moments.
And we loved that about this wedding.

Set inside Mitham — one of the warmest wedding venues in Chennai, built like a charming old home with modern edges, the celebration felt slow, unrushed. Like everyone had enough time to soak it in. From light streaming through old windows to that joyous late-night mala exchange, it was a series of honest, no-frill emotions.

Every picture feels like them, laughter without filters, sarees against raw walls, and shared spoonfuls of badam halwa and sakkara pongal.

The kind of wedding that reminds you…..love isn’t a spectacle, it’s a story.
And this one? We were just lucky to tell it.

Prapti & Love
Old Town, Surat

Prapti is sunlight in motion , the kind of person who smiles with her whole face, who laughs like she doesn’t care who’s watching. You can see it in the way she holds the lotus. In how she throws her head back mid-laughter. In how completely she lives inside the moment.

Love is quieter. Observant. His joy doesn’t need to be loud, it’s steady, grounded, full of ease. He doesn’t try to match her energy. He simply holds it.

Together, they moved like a private joke in a public place.
Surat buzzed around them, the flower stalls, the bicycles, the morning bustle but nothing touched their rhythm.

They weren’t posing. They were pausing.
And letting the world blur around them.

This wasn’t a portrait session.
This was two people, completely at home — in themselves and with each other.
And the camera simply followed.

Adwitiya & Anand
Rajbari Bawali, Kolkata

Some venues hold history.
Some hold charm.
And then there’s Rajbari — where every corridor, every courtyard, somehow feels personal.
Like it was waiting just for you.

That’s what this wedding felt like.
Intimate. Warm. Soulful.
A Tamil Brahmin boy and a Bengali bride — surrounded by laughter, rituals, and that quiet kind of joy that lives in between the big moments.

We rarely share montage cuts.
But this one demanded to be felt — not just seen.

But here’s a glimpse of what it felt like to witness Adwitiya & Anand’s love unfold at a place that always feels like home.

Sharada & Pratik | Goa

Some weddings carry history.
Ours with this family began nine years ago—when Meera got married.
Since then, Sharada has been family.
Not just a bride we were waiting for,
but someone who has rooted for Picturemakers in every way possible.
This entire family has.
They’ve cheered for us, believed in us, and been part of who we’ve become.

So this wedding had to be special.
Because it wasn’t just about Sharada and Pratik.
It was personal.

Sharada—the girl we’ve known for years,
and Pratik—the calm, thoughtful force she found along the way.
Both lawyers. Both gentle rebels.
Their love grew between courtrooms and coffees,
and quietly became something unshakeable.

This Goa wedding was loud, wild, and full of love.
But beneath all the celebration was something quieter.
Because no real wedding is just music and madness.
There’s always a silence that says more than the noise ever could.

This carousel is about that silence.
The voices that cracked while promising forever.
The in-betweens. The pauses. The closeness that doesn’t need to be announced.

To some, it might feel filmy.
But to them, it’s just their truth.
And to us—it’s a chapter in a story we’ve been so lucky to witness.

We’ll show you the madness soon.
But today, we sit in the stillness.
And in the voices that really matter.
